With the world recovering from the global financial crisis, many people are currently searching for work. Using the law of attraction has already helped thousands of people around the world to find their dream job, and it can help you too.
What is the Law of Attraction?
Rhonda Byrne made the law of attraction popular in her film and book, The Secret, which explains how we can use the power of our mind to attract to us the things we want, through the law of attraction.
Based in physics, the law of attraction tells us that we send frequencies out into the Universe through our thoughts and feelings. What we receive back from the Universe is a reflection of the frequencies we send out. For example, if you were to think negative thoughts, you would receive negative things. It is as Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you are right”.
It is easy enough to attract yourself a new job. All it requires is a change in thought patterns. You can achieve this by following these five steps.
Step 1: Decide What you Want in a Job
The first step in using the law of attraction to get a new job is to decide what kind of job you want. Unless the Universe knows what it is that you are looking for, it cannot provide you with it.
Step 2: Act as Though You Already Have the Job
In order to send the right frequency, you need to act as though you already have your ideal job. This means getting up at the time of morning when you would normally get up to go to work, and treating the tasks you complete during your day as though they are your work.
The frequency you will be sending out into the Universe will be ‘work’ and you will therefore attract work opportunities to you. If, instead, you are getting out of bed at noon and sitting on the couch all day, you are sending out a ‘no work’ frequency, and this is what you will attract.
Step 3: Don’t Worry: Know That Your Job is on the Way
Now that you have told the Universe what you want, the next step is to believe that it is on its way. Worrying about the lack of jobs will attract a lack of opportunity. Believe that you will receive, and you will.
Keep your eyes open for opportunities. You cannot get a new job if you do not apply for one. The Universe doesn’t do everything for you! It simply provides opportunities for you to take advantage of.
Step 4: Visualize the Interview Process Going Smoothly
Visualization is a very powerful tool. Before your interview, visualize yourself being calm and answering questions expertly and confidently. Tell yourself over and over that the interview will go well, and it will.
Step 5: Know the Job is Yours
You need to believe the job is yours, and act as though they have already offered you the position. Don’t let any doubt enter your mind. Know the job is yours and you will receive it.
